Recontres du Vietnam marks 10-year presence in Binh Dinh

A ceremony “Impressions after 10-year presence of the Recontres du Vietnam (Meet Vietnam) programme in Binh Dinh” was held at the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) on August 5.

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed operation of the Association Rencontres du Vietnam in Binh Dinh during last 10 years, contributing to the development of science of Vietnam in general and Binh Dinh inparticular.

Prof. Tran Thanh Van, Chairman of the Recontres du Vietnam, expressed his desire to receive more assistance from both central and local leaders, also scientists.

He expressed his wish that Quy Hoa will become the first scientific-educational urban area in the near future, turning Quy Nhon into a city of science and the best research institute in Vietnam.

Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Ho Quoc Dung thanked Prof. Tran Thanh Van and his wife Le Kim Ngoc for providing an opportunity for science, especially for Vietnam’s basic science. Binh Dinh authorities plans to develop ICISE becoming the first science and education urban area, turning Quy Nhon into a city of science.
