Nucleus for developing industrial, services in Binh Dinh

A ground-breaking ceremony of the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Township and Industrial Park and the inauguration of road linking Nhon Hoi Economic Zone with Phu Cat airport took place yesterday in the central province of Binh Dinh.

Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, local leaders and other delegates attended the ceremonies.

The Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Township and Industrial complex covers an area of 1,425 ha in Van Canh district, with the investment of more than 3.33 trillion VND (143.45 million USD).

The project, which is the result of the cooperation between the provinces of Binh Dinh and Binh Duong, is expected to attract investment in excess of 2 billion USD, create stable jobs for about 150,000 workers, and contribute around 400 billion VND per year to the State budget.

Addressing the event, Deputy PM Binh said the project will serve as a nucleus promoting the development of Binh Dinh’s industrial and services sectors, urging local authorities and people to work with the investor to ensure its progress and safety.

At the ceremony, 9 foreign and domestic investors signed a memorandum of understanding for the investment into the complex.

On the same day, an ceremony to inaugurate a road linking Nhon Hoi Economic Zone with Phu Cat airport was also held in An Nhon town.The 4-lane road, measuring 20km in length, 20.5m in width, was built for 3 year at a cost of 1.82 billion VND.
