During an inspection tour in Hoai Nhon yesterday (July 31), Vice Chairman Chau asked for the reports of ssolutions to the management and investment of material and human resources to stop illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.

According to the local authorities, 5 fishing vessels in Hoai Nhon have been arrested for foreign water intrusion since early this year.

Chau requested relevant bodies in the district to be more determined in carrying out the solutions, as the responsibility of the removal of EU’s “yellow card” must be shared by the whole country.
