Phu Cat airport mulls over delivering int’l flights

Binh Dinh People’s Committee asked the Ministry of Transport for the license to deliver international flights at Phu Cat airport.

Phu Cat Airport is expected to serve international flights next year.

According to the province’s Chairman Ho Quoc Dung, Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air and Bamboo Airways plan to offer flights to Thailand, Japan, Republic of Korea and China from Binh Dinh next year.

The airport infrastructure has been upgraded to meet the domestic and international services.

Upon receiving the request, the Ministry asked the civil aviation authority of Vietnam to assess this.

The province welcomed more than 3.7 million visitors, including over 264,000 foreign tourists, last year.
