Binh Dinh promotes cashless payment solutions

The provincial People’s Committee has issued a plan to promote the cashless payment methods by the end of 2020.

Under the plan, 90 percent of local supermarkets and shopping malls will be equipped with EFTPOST machines allowing customers to purchase without using cash.

Also, about 70 percent of the province’s providers of electricity, water, telecommunications and communication will accept bill payment via cashless payment channels by the end of 2020.

The plan aims to encourage local people to use the modern payment services and reduce the risk of cash - related wrongdoings.
