Cho Huyen pork roll officially branded

Cho Huyen fermented pork roll trademark was officially announced in Tuy Phuoc district on August 10.

According to the announcement, 5 fermented pork roll producers in the district will share the trademark, which was issued by the National Office of Intellectual Property.

Cho Huyen pork roll, a famous speciality of Binh Dinh, is made from lean pork and spices that contains no additives or preservatives. It is the most popular choice among gifts for Binh Dinh's people who live far from home and tourists.

According to Vice Chairman of Tuy Phuoc District People's Committee Tran Ky Quang, the district has now 60 facilities producing pork roll, but only five facilities has initially granted trademark.

This is the first step in building a brand for traditional Cho Huyen fermented pork roll, creating a good business environment for certified producers.
