Sustainable environment project to be kicked off

The Vietnam’s coastal cities sustainable environment project (phase 2) – the subcomponent of Quy Nhon city - will be kicked off.

Binh Dinh’s leaders and the World Bank’s representative January 16 had a meeting to discuss the implementation of the project.

The phase 2 includes 4 parts: the sanitation infrastructure, the improvement of urban connectivity, the compensation for land clearance and the support for institutional reform.

The project, running from 2018 to 2022, costs over USD55 million, of which more than USD50 million funded by the World Bank.

This year’s estimated cost is USD 9.4 million, including over USD 8.1 million from ODA and more than USD 1.3 million from the province’s corresponding fund.
