Binh Dinh Power Co. to improve and upgrade its energy network
During 2017-2021, Binh Dinh Power Company would improve and upgrade its power network on large scale, with total expected cost of more than 409 billion VND, including more than 86 billion VND in 2017 only, said Mr. Ho Quang Thinh, Deputy Director of the company on January 8.
In addition, Vietnam Electricity Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) has approved a sub-project of upgrading and improving DEP2 distribution network at loan offered by World Bank and two-phase KFW3 project financed by German Development Bank. The former project will be implemented in 2018 and the later will be implemented in 2018 and 2019. In the first phase of the KFW3 project, Binh Dinh Power Company and Central Rural Power Management Board will upgrade the power network with 413kms of medium voltage, 134 transformer stations and 724kms of low voltage. Total cost is expectedly 600 billion VND. In the 2nd phase, total cost will be 150 billion VND for continuing improvement of the power network with 77.48kms of medium voltage and 88 transformer stations.
