Tour expanded for longer joyful trips

Some Quy Nhon - based tour operators have recently expanded their Quy Nhon city tours to the neighbour province of Phu Yen, improving their customers' satisfaction. Such the expanded tours attracts more tourists to Binh Dinh province.

Tourists are visiting Da Dia Cliff on the Liberation Day, 30 April 2015, as part of a tour by Mien Trung Tourist Co., Ltd.

It is necessary to link local tourist destinations at various locales to take advantage of their strengths, say tourism experts.  The link helps to expand the tours and improve quality of the tours. The tourists, thus, are likely to stay longer and spend more, increasing social impact of tourism.

Given knowledge of their local tourism industry's potentials and strengths, the provinces at the Central Coast Vietnam should focus on development of the industry as an important player in the local economies, said  a representative from Tour Operation Department, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, at a conference on Binh Dinh Tourism Investment Promotion 2015 held in Quy Nhon city on 30 March 2015. On the contrary, the provinces do tourism business at their own discretion and preference. Without effective co-ordination, the tourism industry at the region yields unsatisfactory results and unsustainably develops. Therefore, the provinces should work together, as soon as possible.

Binh Dinh has co-operated with cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh in tourism development and begins to reap some fruitful results. The province has also cooperated with other localities at the Central Coast Vietnam, and provinces of Gia Lai and Kon Tum in the Central Highlands. However, the later hasn't worked well yet.

Binh Dinh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is planning to boost the cooperation with other provinces in the Central Coast and the Central Highlands, upon consideration of the East-West Economic Corridor, the Southern Laos, the Northeastern Cambodia and Thailand in near future.

The cooperation covers a vast ranges of activities, including tour connection. Thanks to the cooperation, local tourist operators in Binh Dinh have expanded their tours to neighbour provinces, attracting more tourists and encouraging them to extend their stays.

Mien Trung Tourist Company Limited is the trailblazer in the tour expansion. Next player is Golden Life Travel Company Limited. Both decides to extend their tours to Phu Yen province.

Besides inner Binh Dinh province tours, during the last 2 years, the Mien Trung Tourist Co. has expanded its tours to Da Dia Cliff (the Cliff of Stone Plates), O Loan Lagoon, Mang Lang Church and other tourist attractions at Tuy An district, Phu Yen province, says Mr. Nguyen Pham Kien Trung, director of the company.

The company is working with some tour operators in Hanoi city to attract more visitors there to Binh Dinh province, adds Mr. Trung.

Other tour operators in Binh Dinh are now considering tour connection with the two provinces of Gia Lai and Kon Tum, with Ly Son island, Quang Ngai province.
