Binh Dinh launches tourism stimulus package

A tourism promotion programme was held on May 22 in Quy Nhon city, the central province of Binh Dinh, aiming to attract more visitors in the post-Covid-19 period.

At the event, about 50 tourism businesses in Binh Dinh signed commitments to offer the price discount for most of services and accommodation without lowering the quality.

The programme is expected to last until the end of this year.

In the first five months of 2020, Binh Dinh welcomed more than 814,500 visitors, down 61 percent compared to the same period last year. Revenue from tourism activities was estimated at 985 billion VND (over 42.3 million USD), a year-on-year decrease of 55.6 percent.
