Tet brings bumper harvest for local tourism

The initial statistics reported by Binh Dinh Department of Tourism showed that the province welcomed more than 250,000 visitors during Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday, a rise of 21 percent against the same period last year.

Tourists are visiting Eo Gio, one of scenic spots in Binh Dinh.

According to some experts, some causes making the province become an attractive destination for the Tet holiday include the award of “ASEAN Clean Tourist City” and good weather.

Many scenic spots in Quy Nhon City attracted thousands of tourists, such as Seagate tourist site, Crown Retreat Quy Nhon, Ham Ho, Eo Gio and Ky Co. Local hotels also saw an increase of the number of guests.

Some travel agencies in Binh Dinh, including Vietravel Quy Nhon and Saigontourist, organized many tours for people to visit the province during Tet.

According to Director of Binh Dinh Department of Tourism Nguyen Van Dung, positive feedbacks from tourists prove the beauty and peaceful atmostphere of Quy Nhon.
