Binh Dinh celebrates Tet with festive activities

A series of  festivals were held around the province during the Year of the Pig 2019, particularly a festival celebrating the 230th anniversary of Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory.

The event took place on January 8 (the fourth day of the Year of the Pig) at Quang Trung Museum in Tay Son district, with the participation of central and provincial leaders and scores of locals and visitors.

Various activities, such as volleyball competitions, Bai Choi singing festival, “Hanh binh than toc” (speedy march) competition, were held during the festival.

Other cultural and sport events were also organized across the province, such as Cho Go (Go Market) festival, boat racing on Go Boi River, Deo Nhong - Duong Lieu victory festival, boat racing on Tra O Lagoon, Bai Choi folk art festival.

Many activities also attracted people, including chess player, live concerts of Flamenco Band, lion and dragon dance, sports performers, Bai Choi festival, martial arts performances, chess competition.
