Incense, flower offered to commemorate Emperor Quang Trung in HCMC

An incense and flower offering ceremony was held in front of the statue of Emperor Quang Trung in Ho Chi Minh City on March 3.

This was part of activities of a festival dedicated to Binh Dinh’s fellow countrymen in the city.

The statue, which was inaugurated 2 years ago, is located in the precinct of a functional area belonging to HCM City-based Vietnam National University.

This 2.8 metres-height statue is made by white and grey granite and is carved  basing on the real model of the statue at Quang Trung Museum in Binh Dinh.

The VND2.2 billion – statue was built with the donation of HCM City-based Hung Thinh Real Estate Business Investment Corporation (Hung Thinh Corp).
