Binh Dinh leader receives Thai Ambassador

The central province of Binh Dinh expects to boost the cooperation with Thailand, particularly in fields of industry, agriculture and tourism, the province’s Vice Chairman Nguyen Phi Long told Thai Ambassador to Vietnam Tanee Sangrat at a reception in Quy Nhon on July 27.

The Vice Chairman also confirmed the friendly bilateral relations. In the trade relation, Thailand is the Vietnam’s biggest trade partner among ASEAN countries.

Binh Dinh is currently seeing 6 projects invested by Thai investors, with the investment capital of 55.39 million USD.

Vice Chairman Long also expressed the hope that the Royal Thai Consulate-General would play an important role in fostering the cooperation between two sides.

For his part, Ambassador Tanee was impressed by the province’s socio-economic development.
