Quy Nhon hosts informal meeting with Lao students

Binh Dinh Union of Friendship Associations on January 10 held an informal meeting with Lao students, who are studying at Quy Nhon University, on the occasion of the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday.

A local official is presenting lucky money (a Vietnamese tradition during Tet) to Lao students.

Speaking at the meeting, the Union’s Chairman Mai Thanh Thang confirmed that the relationship between Vietnam and Laos lasts forever. He also expected that Lao students would have the best experiences in Binh Dinh.

During the event, the participants enjoyed many art shows, focusing on traditional arts of Bai Choi folk song, martial arts, cai luong (Vietnamese classical drama), and traditional dances and songs of Laos.
