Local authorities to continue asking for ICISE’s tax exemption

Talking in the press conference on July 8, Binh Dinh province’s Chairman Ho Quoc Dung affirmed that the local authorities will make all-out effort to help the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) to enjoy an exemption of land taxes.

According to Chairman Dung, while the province has continuously submitted proposals to the prime minister and central-level administrations, raising the issue, but it was told the plot is not classified as land that can be used for free.

However, the provincial authorities will still put forward another proposal to the relevant bodies to consider recognizing ICISE as a scientific and educational entity that is not subject to land taxes.

The province’s Chairman also provided the information about other issues, including the human power for tourism industry, main projects in Binh Dinh, and other infrastructure problems.
