Solar power projects to operate next month

Two solar power projects, including Cat Hiep and Fujiwara, are expected to be fully operational by June, according to their plan.

Binh Dinh’s Chairman Ho Quoc Dung went to inspect the progress of these works yesterday in Cat Hiep commune of Phu Cat district and Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.

The 49.5-MW Cat Hiep solar power mill has been built since late October, 2018. It is projected to generate more than 70 million kWh of electricity for the national system.

The Japan-invested Fujiwara project, which has the capacity of 50 MW, is also planned to connect with the national grid system next month.

Chairman Dung believed that they will contribute to the local budget after being operated.
