Provincial leaders visit Martyr Cemetery

The provincial leaders delegation July 27 held an incense offering ceremony at Quy Nhon Martyr Cemetery, marking the 71st anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day.

At the ceremony, delegates laid wreaths and offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs who laid down their lives for national independence and freedom. 

A candle-lighting ceremony in honour of war heroes and martyrs also took place at Quy Nhon Martyr’s Cemetery on the evening of July 26.

Delegates and more than 700 members of the provincial Youth Union offered incense, flowers, and lighted candles in remembrance of heroic martyrs.

Candle-lighting ceremonies  were also held simultaneously at 105 cemeteries in the province.

Gifts were presented to Vietnamese heroic mothers, war invalids and policy beneficiary families in the province.
