Various activities mark War Invalids and Matyrs’ Day

Many activities have been held across the province to commemorate the upcoming Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27).


The local authorities July 23 cooperated with the No.129 Navy battalion to hand over a house worth VND70 mln and a gift worth VND3 mln to Le Van Binh, a martyr’s son, who is also a member of a disavantaged family in An Quang Tay hamlet, Cat Khanh commune, Phu Cat district (photo).

Phu My district’s affiliate of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also handed over a  house worth nearly VND100 mln and a gift worth VND25 mln to Vietnamese heroic mother Le Thi Co in Dong An hamlet, My Chanh commune.

Leaders of Bong Son town (Hoai Nhon district) presented 494 gifts worth VND46 mln to war invalids and families of war martyrs in the locality.
